Well, it looks like we have discovered a new addiction! Okay, maybe there is no big surprise there. Anyway our latest love is these pretty fabric flowers! So versatile when made in a variety of fabrics and ribbons. They can be used as hair clips or pins! How fun. These will be added soon to our Etsy store.

VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine's Day has to be the greatest holiday holiday of all. Okay, maybe I say that about all of the holidays. But, seriously what is not to like? Everything is pink and red. Not to mention all of the cute stuffed animals! Don't even get me started on the chocolate! Anyway, now that Christmas is over and the lights and decorations are finally put away Sonya and I have been working hard on some Valentine's Day projects. It feels like forever since I've sat down and done something creative. It's not that I haven't wanted to. There just never seems to be enough time! But, summer is over, the kids are back in school and I'm running out of excuses. Okay, I'll never run out of excuses. But, I still need to get going. It's almost Christmas!

Before Christmas however, is Halloween. And, I LOVE Halloween! Seriously, what is there not not to love about a holiday where you have an excuse to eat all of the candy you want and get to be a witch, a princess or a rock star? Anyway, I have finally buckled down and here are the results of a couple of my latest projects.

Etsy Cottage Style Street Team Valentine Swap

I just received my gift for the Etsy Cottage Style Street Team Valentine Swap from Kat of Kat's Imagination. It was the most beautiful heart shaped box of "Eye Candy." Kat decorated this gorgeous box (complete with glitter!) and filled it with scrumptious new and vintage embellishments. Inside were ribbons, jeweled brads, crystal and velvet hearts, little flowers (the roses look real!), buttons, rhinestones and this perfect little beaded strawberry and pink (LOVE pink!!!) jeweled pin.
